Thank you for offering your services. I am considering using the PRO version, but I have encountered two problems with the free version:

    – Since I installed the plug-in a few weeks ago, every time I go to my WordPress Administrator page it redirects me automatically to the Register Form of the Paid Memberships Form. It is really annoying because now I have to access my page through my provider.

    – I find it strange to see that half of my subscribers are under the “pending” or “failed” labels. It seems that the process works only sometimes. I have tested it as if I were a possible subscriber, and on the Register form there was no connection to the PayPal page: “In process” or something similar was displayed for so long that I gave up.

    Thank you for your help!

      Hi @spanishwithpedro,

Keep in mind that we’re not allowed to speak about the paid versions here, but since both your questions are related to functionalities that are also in the Free plugin, then we will respond here:

Since I installed the plug-in a few weeks ago, every time I go to my WordPress Administrator page it redirects me automatically to the Register Form of the Paid Memberships Form. It is really annoying because now I have to access my page through my provider.

-> Most likely you enabled the “Redirect Default WordPress Pages” setting from Paid Member Subscriptions -> Settings -> General. If you go to that setting, you will see in its description a URL that can be used to log in directly from the default WordPress Login form.

I find it strange to see that half of my subscribers are under the “pending” or “failed” labels. It seems that the process works only sometimes. I have tested it as if I were a possible subscriber, and on the Register form there was no connection to the PayPal page: “In process” or something similar was displayed for so long that I gave up.

-> 1. Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins -> and send a screenshot with the Paid Member Subscriptions plugin (make sure the plugin version can be seen)?

      2. Could you please share a screenshot with the exact error message you’re seeing from PayPal?

      3. Just to be sure, is this the URL of the page where you encounter the issue: https://spanishwithpedro.com/register/?

You can use a site like https://snipboard.io/ to share the screenshots.

      Hi alexandrubodea,

Thank you for you detailed reply. The first problem has been resolved (Thank you!). As for the second problem, here are the screenshots:

-> 1. Could you please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins -> and send a screenshot with the Paid Member Subscriptions plugin (make sure the?plugin version?can be seen)?

      2. Could you please share a screenshot with the exact error message you’re seeing from PayPal?

Actually the problem is that I have a lot of “pending” subscriptions, and I thought it was because of the timing isssue with PayPal. I was wrong. Upon reading your documentation, I came up with the “Honeypot Field” and have activated it. Since then, everything is working. I just wonder why spamers could be interested in my website, but that is another issue.

      3. Just to be sure, is this the URL of the page where you encounter the issue:?https://spanishwithpedro.com/register/?

      Yes, that is the URL.

I truly appeciate your answer and your help.

      Greetings,

      Pedro

      Hi @spanishwithpedro,

I do not see any attached screenshots, but from what I understand from your message, the second issue was also resolved.

Note: To fight spam registrations, you can also use the reCaptcha functionality. This can be activated from Paid Member Subscriptions -> Settings -> Misc -> reCaptcha.
