2 popups with 1 cookies/session

  • i have 2 popups. one that is exit intent and another with a time delay. the problem is both of the popups have their own cookie/session. if the exit popup closes then the time delay popup still opens and vice versa. is it possible to make them the same session? so when exit intent popup closes then the time delay popup will not open and vice versa. i hope i expressed my question in a good way.

  • Hi, I think I understand your concern. Would you be able to only put one popup per page? Does that solve the issue?

    one per page, as in each page only has one kind of popup? i might be able to do that but for now i will keep both popups. if each page only has one kind of popup then some users might leave without seeing a popup. for example let’s say i have a time delay popup which shows after 1 minute and a visitor leaves before 1 minute, then they will never see a popup at all. only the pages with a exit popup will see one. it would be a better user experience if there was an option for the same session. that way if a user declines or says “no thanks” to email subscriptions to the first popup then another popup does not bother them. it would be a nice added feature, though i do not know how hard it would be to implement. as of right now the plugin is still great, but this feature would make it complete in my opinion
