2 podcast episodes have wrong title in RSS

    Two of my podcast episodes have the wrong title, description and link but the correct audio file. I have tried various methods of fixing the titles which seemed to have been caused by customs posts but I am not sure.

    However, now I published a recent episode thinking it would fix itself but it hasnt. How do I regenerate or reset my podcast feed? The episodes display perfectly on my website at https://www.jamaipanese.com/podcast but I cant get the feed to be correct.

    I have tried different themes, disabled plugins, reinstalled SSP, tried to redirect feed, edited feed template and so much more over the past few days but no luck.

    “Pokemon Legend Red Nendoroid” replaces what should be episode 5 and 6

    Ok gotcha, thanks for that. Was there anything different about the way you created those episode posts than normal? Such as switching from a different type of post or copying an existing post? Strange that both episode posts are pointing to the same (wrong) URL on your site.

    I would try to delete both of those episodes and recreate them from scratch. You can backdate those episodes to be the original publish date.

    Let us know how that works out.

    not to my knowledge. The Pokemon post was incorrectly tagged as a podcast but the tag removed. Since then those 2 episodes have had the wrong title.

    If I delete and redo those episodes will I lose the stats data?

    Yes you would likely lose the stats associated with those episodes, but as it stands I’d guess that the stats for those episodes are bundled together anyhow since the two posts in your feed are pointing to the same URL. Honestly not sure how that happened, but in the long run I think you’d be better starting both posts from scratch as that will resolve the issue you’re seeing and from that point forward you’d get the stats you’re looking for.
