    Hey,
I’ve got this installed on WordPress and on a few of my pages, the Facebook Pixel Helper Chrome plugin is saying that it’s found TWO pixels on my page. It’s not like this on every page – only on my main home page and maybe one or two others.

For example on the home at:
    https://www.fredmckinnon.com/myblog/

The FB Pixel Helper extension says:
    2 pixels found on https://www.fredmckinnon.com

Then, it lists my correct PIXEL ID, along with PageView and GeneralEvent.
Then, underneath, it lists another pixel – but this one has no ID, and the only data under is:
    Facebook Pixel
    Pixel ID:

    Facebook Pixel
    EVENT INFO
    URL Called: Show
    Load Time: 87.97 ms
    Pixel Location: Show

Same thing happens on my “Listen Now” Page – but then on my BIO and a few other pages, it only sees the one main pixel.

I started thinking I had some manual code but I changed themes around and it didn’t go away, and I deactivated the PixelYourSite plugin, and then the chrome extension didn’t see ANY pixels at all.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

There is only one pixel on your website.

The “ghost” one is the result of your cache and the way Pixel Helper works. PH is looking for any code that resembles a pixel and tries to test it. The cache is probably changing some parts of the code, creating this confusion.

In reality, it does nothing and it doesn’t affect you in any way.
