    Hi all,

This isn’t strictly an wordpress query but it is getting in the way of me using it properly.

Before I started uploading WP, I had an old folder uploaded to my site which never worked and was only a trial run. I’ve since successfully uploaded WP and tried to delete the old folder using filezilla. But, it’s only deleting the files and not the folder. As result when I or anyone types in my URL the first thing that we’re faced with is an option of indexes, the old one which leads nowhere, and the wordpress one.

    Any suggestions?

  • Have you tried contacting your hosting provider and asking if they can delete it for you? That would be the easiest. Otherwise, can you post the address of the site?

Hi again – Sorry this was a case of me not thinking it through properly. Now resolved.
