• hi

    I just tested my site https://www.peak-hives.co.uk with the w3c validator and it looks, to my untrained eye, like where I’ve put a couple of images together in a post it’s generating invalid html.

    I’m keen on adhering to standards and would appreciate some feedback on whether it’s WP or me that’s wrong.

    TIA

    Adri

    anyone?

    Be patient. You only posted your question a few minutes ago and now you’ve taken it out of the magic no replies list so even fewer people are going to look at it… ??

    Swap the “</p></div>” tags around on line 1644 as suggested and see what happens when you run it again. Presumably that line is being generated by your index.php file?

    It’s quite difficult to read some of that code. You might want to split out all the css into another file and your page will also load quicker.

    found the culprit…

    something (either WP or a plugin) had been inserting this

    <p style=”text-align: center;”>

    after some of my images in postings. I suspect it was WP itself.

    Is there anywhere to report a bug?

    Cheers

    Adri
