• Hi,
I put the following code on my page and I see two form. If I remove either of the below shortcodes the form doesn’t work.

    [wpgform id='630']

    [gform form='https://docs.google.com/forms/d/15XWyVF65zMAix5ZrsxYpo8rr5RfX_OONBfPugDL1xBE/viewform']

Any suggestions? I put the full url in the address bar of dashboard of the plugin. When I press the link to ‘View Google Form’ at the top of the dashhboard I get page not found. The url it goes to is different from my page url (it has /wpgforms/). Maybe something I did wrong in dashboard? Yet it seems to pick up my confirmation message when I submit.
    Many thanks.

You only need one shortcode or the other but not both. I recommend using the “wpgform” shortcode as I have deprecated the older “gform” shortcode and have stopped adding features to it.

If the “View Google Form” button on the Dashboard isn’t working, try resetting your Permalinks. I’ve seen this happen from time to time and I am not sure why it happens.

What I’ve done is go to “Settings->Permalinks” and note what I have them set to. Then I change it to the default setting and save it. Then I change it back to what I had it originally and save it again.

From there I go back to the Google Form editing screen and try the View Form link and it will usually work.

As to why you see two copies of the form when you have both short codes, that makes sense. But seeing zero copies of the form when you only have one shortcode, that doesn’t make sense and I would test it again to make sure you didn’t accidentally delete something.

    Hi Mike,
I did exactly what you said (thanks for the great instruction!) and the form appears from the form editing screen which is a step forward. I removed the deprecated ‘gform’ too. The form however does not work. If I click on ‘Submit’ nothing at all happens (in both cases on my page and from the form edit screen), not even a ‘page not found’ message.
    Thanks.

Can you post a link to your form so I can look at it? If you’d rather not post it here, I also have a Help and Support Form you can fill out.
