    Hi there. I’m sorry to bother you with this, but I am having an issue with my site throwing errors since installing your plugin:

    Invalid App Id: Must be a number or numeric string representing the application id. all.js:64
    FB.getLoginStatus() called before calling FB.init(). all.js:64

    all.js:64 links to this URL: https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js

    I’m not sure if this is a Facebook issue, or a plugin issue.

    Either way, the View on Facebook and Share links are just text, no link. It shows that a link is supposed to be there in the console, but it’s apparently disabled somehow.

    I know enough to look around, but not enough to diagnose or repair. I’ve read through this board, and your FAQ on your site, but didn’t see this issue replicated anywhere. Any help would be great. I really like this plugin, and I’d love to be able to keep using it.

    Thanks so much!

    Hey april,

    Those warnings in the JavaScript console are actually related to the Facebook “Like Box” widget. It’s an official Facebook widget and so we don’t have much control over it unfortunately. You can choose not to include the Like Box widget if you like, by just using the options on the plugin’s Misc settings page. Otherwise, you can remove the ‘Invalid App ID’ warning by following these directions to set up a Facebook App, adding your website URL to that app, and then adding your App ID to the ‘Facebook App ID’ field which is at the bottom of our plugin’s Misc settings page. It’s kind of a hassle to be honest and so as the warning in the console doesn’t affect anything then we usually advise just ignoring it.

    If you have any further questions at all then just let me know!

    Hi John,

    Weird. I can live with that.

    What about the links?

    Either way, the View on Facebook and Share links are just text, no link. It shows that a link is supposed to be there in the console, but it’s apparently disabled somehow.

    That’s the real issue, for me ??

    Thank you for your super quick response!

    Hey april,

    I apologize I missed that part of your question. Sorry about that! I haven’t heard of that issue before and so it would help to see it first hand. Are you able to provide a link to the page on your site where the issues is occurring?

    Hi John,

    Er. I’m shy. Is it possible to PM you somewhere, somehow? I just don’t want to share the link publicly, if that’s okay.

    Of course! The easiest way is just using the Support form on our website. Just include a reference to this thread so that I know what it’s referring to.

    Thank you, John. You were super helpful.

    My issue appears to be something overlapping the links.

    .cff-likebox { clear: both; }

    Adding this to my stylesheet cleared the problem right up.

    You’re welcome April, happy to help! ??

    Just let me know if you have any other issues in future, and have a great rest of your week!
