2 duplicate sites running alongside

    does google class limeightcarpetcleaning.co.uk and ac2.f23.myftpupload.com – as the same website when crawling, or is this a duplicate website on a redirect?

    heres how the conversation went:

    ME:

    id like limelightcarpetcleaning.co.uk – to be completley original, as when google crawls 2 websites exactly the same, it harms SEO, significantly. how do i 100% remove: ac2.f23.myftpupload.com ???

    It is the same one site, which means google will read only one, ( if you ask which, it will only read main domain. if you ask why ?, because it is set as main primary domain of wordpress…

    dont worry about that, no one from 1000’s godadady clients did not had problems with it, you will not also.

    It cant be removed, that is temporary developer domain, it must be there in case of issues with main domain, and you will need to access wordpress control panel, logging in with temporary domain credentials.

    Hey,

    This is probably because they didn’t delete the original development site after migrating it to the new domain. This is something either they should do for you or GoDaddy customer service can action if you reach out to them if you feel uncomfortable deleting the old WordPress installation via cpanel.
