2 dropdown menus with specific categories

    Hi,
    maybe someone can help me. i don’t know if it is possible?but i would like to have 2 drop-down menus.?each with some specific categories.
    in the 1.drop-down menu the user can filter the locations?in the 2.drop-down menu the user can filter the kind of event (concert, exhibition, …)
    i already tried a lot of different nested codes but it didn’t work.?e.g.?[event-list num_events=10 show_filterbar=true ?filterbar_items=cats_dropdown(location1,location2);cats_dropdown(kind1,kind2);reset_link]
    any help?

    ps: one drop-down and one hlist would be also ok, but i just cannot figure out how to assign specific categories to the drop-down and some other categories to the hlist.

    Sorry, this isn’t possible.
    I think the best would be to have a location selection which uses the location field values. This isn’t included either, but would be something I can imagine as a feature to integrate in a future release.

    oh ok! thanks for your answer!
    so i might work with only one drop-down menu and just separate the categories typographically, using underscore for the “kind of events”, so that the categories appear on top at least :

    _concert
    _exhibition
    location A
    location B
    ….

    also works, i hope ! ??

    mhhh. i think it is too confusing for users if i put all the categories in one drop-down ,any workaround recommendations so that it could work to include a 2nd drop-down with an array of specific categories?

    You can have a look at the cat_filter attribute, but I don’t think that this will help you here.
