2 domains, 1 hosting account, 2 WordPress installations

  • Hello all,
    I have a deluxe linux hosting account through godaddy.
    recently, i purchased a new domain and decided to host it in the same account as my existing WordPress installation. I called Godaddy and took care of the nameserver, etc. I created a new database, and i’m getting the “database connection error”. Anyone have any thoughts?

  • You need to check your database details with GoDaddy.

    If you have Deluxe linux hosting you can have Unlimited Websites on your hosting , you need to create another folder for your second website and upload wordpress to it , and create the database manually.

    The best thing is give them a call and let them do it for you.
