Site still referencing old wp-admin location, not the new one I created.
-
I’ll try to explain as simple as possible. In relation to the backend:
So I had a “testing” location “www.site.com/testing/wp-admin” that I set up to get the client site up and running before launch. Well, I moved it using, “Backup Buddy” to “www.site.com/manage/wp-admin”. WordPress is in it’s own directory (manage) currently, when it wasn’t before on the test location. Anyway I’ve been wondering why site updates weren’t being reflected until now. Client calls me today. I was stumped as to why. So….
All the updates that take place at “www.site.com/manage/wp-admin” don’t show up on the site. Only updates at “www.site.com/testing/wp-admin” are showing up. So it’s still referencing the old path for the backend!!! This is obviously not what I want.
So what can I do? I’m so lost right now. Please help! ??
Thank you.
