2 different admin panels

  • Both mine and my school website are using wordpress 2.2.2 but there is a significant difference in the admin panels.

    My site seems to have the most recent version, but like I said, both are using wp 2.2.2

    What could cause this?

  • Visit Users -> Your Profile and check out the top checkbox (to use the WYSIWYG editor). Looks like one blog has it on and the other off.

    Your right, the one on the school website wasn’t checked. However, when I did check it i got even less options, the visual editor didn’t show up, I lost all those basic editor tools – b i etc

    Clear your browser cache (or while on the school site editor, hit ctrl-F5). That oughta get it.

    That did it! I forgot the ‘use visual option needed to be checked, and I certainly didn’t think I needed to clear the cache.
