I’m one of those who don’t like having been forced to install this, and I have two “dashboard” menu under Woocommerce that are exactly the same. What’s the issue here?

There you go, it comes up again after a while. Please give advice.

@arsenalemusica – Can you perform a conflict test for us?
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Both with Storefront and my theme, the plugin responsible for the conflict is Admin Menu Editor, which was probably an obvious choice since it works with menus. Now, the extra “dashboard” menu could easily be deleted but… which one of the two? And is it safe to delete it anyway?

@arsenalemusica – I’m not sure I can safely tell you which one to delete, since that’s not functionality included in WooCommerce Admin. You may consider reaching out to the developers of that plugin to see if there’s a way to determine which is the original.

I’m going to go ahead and set this to resolved since we’ve been able to determine that the issue is not with WooCommerce Admin.

    Thanks!

…on a side note, they are claiming that WooCommerce Admin actually “adds two menus and then later moves/removes one of them”

(@arsenalemusica) I found I had exactly the same problem and followed your link for the fix. Much appreciated.
