2 contact-form’s – 1 not working

    I have 2 contact forms (contact-form-7).

    One of them is a duplicate of the other.
    The only difference is that i changed the Messages content – so i have a german and a english version.

    I have setup WP Mail SMTP (1.3.3) – testmail ok, from the german contact form also everything ok – but not from the other one. When pressing send – the hourglass is starting and after 4 minutes i stopped the page.

    Any Idea what can be the reason ?
    Another problem: I can’t find a docu how & where to activate a debug-log what is going on.

    webpage is running on php 7.0, wp 4.9.8, contact form 7 – 5.0.5, math captcha 1.2.10, WPML 4.0.8 – so everything (except php) is patched to latest version

    Hi,

    Click the send on the not working contact form.
    Wait until page crashes.
    Find the server error_log, there will be a PHP-related error on that page. This can help in debugging.

    There is no other way to test that, especially when you say that German form is sending notifications correctly. So it’s either incorrect Mail settings in English form, or whatever else, not related to WP Mail SMTP (as German form sends emails).

    It was math captcha. After i removed this plugin – it worked. I am now using another captcha plugin. Thanks for helping …
