2 Chatbots in 1 site

    Hi,

    I need 1 chatbot for the general visitors of the website. This should have embeddings of all pages and posts.

    And 1 chatbot for the secured area of the website. This should have embeddings of all pages and posts, plus some PDF & XLS files and some other content.

    Since we can have only one Pinecone index on one site, how to make this possible?

    Hi @webguru4u

    You can have more than one Pinecone index. You just need to hit “Sync Indexes” button under embeddings – settings tab and it will retrieve all your indexes.. now you can define a different index for each of your bot.

    Yes, I realized later that I can have multiple indexes in AI Power. But, is it possible to include PDFs and XLS files in the embeddings? And can chatbot analyze these types of files and answer questions based on their content?

    Currently our plugin supports PDFs only.

    Creating 2 indexes on Pinecone would need me to upgrade my account. I have no issues in paying for Lifetime license for AI Power. But, I don’t want to pay the $70 monthly fee to Pinecone.

    I can think of a few solutions-

    1) Is it possible to have 2 indexes of Pinecone in our site without upgrading Pinecone?

    2) Or is it possible to use both Pinecone and Qdrant free versions at the same time on one site for different chatbots?

    3) I have also created a custom GPT on Openai by uploading the PDFs. Can I use the Pinecone index I have on the website along with the custom GPT?

    You can use Qdrant instead of Pinecone. With Qdrant you can create multiple collections and assign each of your bot a different one. I have migrated all my data to Qdrant because Pinecone is too expensive.

    Awesome!

    But I already have Pinecone enabled and can not see the option of Qdrant. Can you tell how to switch from Pinecone to Qdrant?
