2 Admins get 2 different editing results

  • Good afternoon
    Strange situation – I am an Admin and have set up a page with a shopping cart, very simple and have a set of instructions so Admin number 2 can carry on with what I have set up as an example. My setup has a product image on the left and the shopping card code (which provides the Add to Cart button) on the right.
    When Admin number 2 adds the new product, the button ends up underneath the image instead of to the right.
    I then tried logging in as Admin number 2 and sure enough got the same incorrect results. When I went back to my own login, everything was correct.
    My question is: as we are both Admins why the difference in results? I am the only Admin using css etc, the other Admin is more or less just an editor and only edits the pages.

  • Hi Jasnick,

    If you have a look with Google Dev Tools/Firebug, can you see what CSS resources are being called when logged in as each user.

    Are both accounts actually “Administrator” accounts or is one maybe an “Editor”?

    Just guessing at the moment ??

    Yes both are actually Admins. It is very strange. Thanks Airster, I will do what you suggest tomorrow.
