    Hello all and thank you for this exceptional plugin. I not only use it in my website projects, Its my go to reference for coding standards and ideas! Your work is so greatly appreciated.

    I wanted to ask if you guys have an estimate as rough an estimate as it might be , of the release of version 2.8

    Pods 2.8 is in public beta right now, we’re preparing our second beta this month and hope to get to release candidate after we determine there aren’t any remaining issues with backwards compatibility. I don’t have an exact ETA on that as it depends on how the testing goes.

    Maybe sometime mid-late May if all goes well?

    We’ve got most of the issues resolved that have been reported but just need more people to test to make sure we can go into a Release Candidate stage. I don’t have an ETA just as before, it really all depends on how much our testers find. I’m super eager here, it’s definitely time to get it out. We are making another push at the start of August with a goal of RC and potentially release in August. But again, that all depends on how many testers we get confirming things are working OK (and reporting bugs where they are not).

    The real release date as of today is set for October 11th.
