Hello,

Upgrading the plugin beyond version 2.7.3 appears to break the menu – the ‘hamburger’ icon still appears, but if you click on it, there’s no menu, and if you’re on phone, you can’t escape the clear box that appears so cannot access the website itself. I’d not seen this issue with any prior version or any other website I’ve used the plugin on.

We use Bento theme and its extension (places ribbon at top of page), there’s a ‘SmartSlider’ at the top of the front page, and we use SG Optimizer – as I notice that’s cropped up a bit.

Hi @lauramay7,

This can also be a cache issue. If you want to give it a try to update to the latest 2.8 version and click in the Save changes button in the Mobile Menu options.

After that purge the cache of the SG optimizer and clear the cache in the browser and test again.

It’s a SG Optimizer issue – will report back once I figure out which particular setting is the issue.

Nope, I already had ‘combine CSS’ disabled. It’s this setting–turning it off has Mobile Menu working again:

Remove Query Strings From Static Resources. Removes version query strings from your static resources improving the caching of those resources.

atm I’m seeing fine your site with the Mobile Menu.
Did you turned SG optimizer off?

Yes, I’ve left the ‘Remove Query Strings’ setting turned off, and now Mobile Menu is working fine. Thank you!
