2.7.1 shoping cart

    Since the installation of version 2.7.1, the shopping cart only works if no options (size, color, quantity) need to be selected for the product.
    As soon as an option is selected, the alert message “Please select an option …” is displayed when clicking on the shopping cart. This is repeated again and again and the product cannot be selected/purchased …
    Example: Product with options
    If the W3 total cache plug-in is deactivated, the shopping cart works correctly for all products, regardless of whether they have options or not.

    For the live website at https://www.softub.ch the W3 total cache plugin is deactivated and the shopping cart works correctly.

    Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!

    Can you please disable the settings one by one in Performance>general settings, save the settings and purge the cache after each setting is disabled and see which one might be causing the issue?

    Thank you for your quick reply.
    When all settings are turned off (except opcode cache; I can’t turn it off) the store displays correctly, but as soon as a single product is selected, the store loses the CSS stylesheets.
    Instead it tries to load JS and CSS files from the cache minify folder (404 Errors > 40).
    Example:
    GET softub-wasserpflege-set/:229
    https://dev.softub.ch/wp-content/cache/minify/9ed74.js

    I first need to find out why it is still trying to load files from the minify folder.
    The website is a WordPress nightmare; ??
    I have only recently been given the task of doing the updates.
    I’ll get back to you if I have anything new to report.

    Thank you for your feedback.
    It seems taht if the minify is active some files are not working as expected when you change the option and add to cart.
    Can you please share which embed option is used for the minified JS files in Performance>Minify>JS ?

    All options are switched off. I need to find out why the minify directory in the cache folder should still be accessed …

    After carefully carrying out all the tests again … finally done:
    Minify disabled and it works correctly.
