2.1.3 have the default fonts changed?

  • hi all, I updated the theme with 2.1.3 (work on child theme activated) and all the characters of the site have changed.

    It was these
    ColorMag open sans

    now i’m like this ??

    ColorMag Serif

    In particular, the automatically applied font looks like the Serif and not the default Open Sans.

    Have the default fonts been changed or is there something I’m missing?

    apparently after a few hours everything is back as before … but why did it happen? I would also like to understand for the future as I also saw that from the debug console it actually reported the Serif font

    Thanks for reaching us,

    Since there were some issues with the GDPRcompliant in the European countries, we have now made the ColorMag fonts to be displayed locally than the google fonts. However, you can choose the appropriate fonts of your choice if you do not have any GDPR issues within your country.

    Hi and thanks for the reply,

    after a few hours the Open Sans fonts are back so at the moment I don’t have the problem and, to my knowledge, there are no problems with the GDPR.

    Eventually I should find the thing again, how can you “choose” the font?

    Same for me. Fonts changed after update.

    When I change from default to Opens Sans its still the same, wrong it doesn′t change. And also the headlines, not base, are Opens Sans, without changing from default font..?
