2.1.10 Double Opt-In is now always on

    In update 2.1.10 double opt-in is now standard with no way of turning it off as I can see. It does this even though the list in Mailchimp has the setting turned off.

    I have double opt-in OFF, and this has caused a confused customer to email me to ask why they have revived an opt-in email when they did not subscribe at the checkout.

    I have raised this issue on GitHub.
