    HELP!!!

    My webiste auto updated to Version 2.0 and my tables no longer display and the page displays as if it is a mobile site. Every page/post with a Tablepress table displays “There has been a critical error on this website.”.

    I try to edit the page/post and get an error “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

    I then deactivate Tablepress and these pages/posts appear correctly, other than for obvious reasons (the plugin is deactivated) no longer displaying the table contents.

    I can then edit the page/post but have no way off inserting a table into a post or page, via the add a “TablePress table” block in the block editor and selecting the desired table!

    I don’t understand why the short code from the previous version isn’t supported in version 2.0.

    How can I activate version 2.0 AND edit my pages/posts that have an existing TablePress table that worked perfectly well using a short code.

    The update seems more like a downgrade to me.

    Hi @jardry ,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    My guess here right now is that the update was maybe incomplete, so that files are missing, and that would then be causing this fatal error.

    Can you please try re-installing TablePress from a fresh download (no worries, your tables are still safe in the database)?

    If that does not help, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please get in touch via email (the address is on https://tablepress.org/impressum/ )? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

    I deactivated TablePress and then deleted the TablePress plugin.

    I then re-downloaded the plugin and regretfully still have the same issues.

    I’ll contact you via email.
