    Good day:

    On the positive, thank you for quickly fixing the fatal crash that 2.0.68 created. However, the fix somehow took away the ability to use inline CSS and have a hierarchy that displaces numbers et al.

    If I turn off inline CSS (it is now turned off for my site as the numbers help readers as well as myself), the feature works. Turn on inline CSS and have hierarchy with decimals and there is no hierarchy or decimals.

    Can this be fixed for inline css?

    Thank you.

    Hi, thank you for sharing this. We have checked on our end and confirmed it’s a valid issue. We have raised a GitHub ticket regarding this concern, and it will be addressed in the upcoming update.

    Here is the ticket:https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/Easy-Table-of-Contents/issues/787

    In order to use inline CSS and the counter to work I added this in my custom CSS: .ez-toc-counter nav ul li a::before{content:counter(item, square) ‘ ‘;
    But there is another issue that you have to consider, on hover the square is…underlined as is the text next to it, it looks ugly and you must correct this as well.
