1st parameter in the URL is changed to “lang”

Hi Author,

Good day, we have the plugin installed and WPML, apparently when you try to type a url with a one or more parameter that is not existing anymore on the current site the 1st parameter is changed to “lang”, we found this by testing some 301 redirects existing. but whenever we deactivate the plugin it will not change anymore. can you help us help out?

here is an example:

https://www.domain.com/dev/trial/?id=3&b=2

when you hit enter the “id” parameter will change to “lang”
https://www.domain.com/trial/?lang=3&b=2
