1.9.7 can't insert galleries, albums, or pictures

Hi Everybody !
Well I was happy that sorting pictures problem was finally resolved.
Today I went to try and insert a gallery into a new post and when I click the drop down list none of the galleries are available to insert into post or pages.
Has this happened to anyone else ?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
