I’ve just upgraded to 2.02. Seemed to work fine at first, but now, every time I try to edit a page, I get the following error message:

“Error: Could not find the template function: TinyMCE_advance_getEditorTemplate”

Perhaps more pertinently, the Page Template box is missing (given that this function was my main reason for upgrading – it’s a bit of an issue!).

I’ve installed another website with the same files and it works fine; this one hasn’t worked despite repeated reinstalls. Have a feeling it is something to do with my configuration, but don’t have a clue what!

I’d guess there’s a problem with one or more of your .php script files. Might want to delete and reupload your WordPress files. You shouldn’t need to run the upgrade again, just upload the files listed here:

I’ve done that, and it didn’t work I’m afraid.

This is getting weirder. It appears to be linked to templates. The problem seems to go away when I use the Kubrick template – still have the same problem with “Classic” though.

I have this same problem with the blog I created today. It has the latest update (2.0.5) and I have installed the contempt 1.5 theme. No matter what theme I use, I get the same error (TinyMCE_advance_getEditorTemplate) when I want to make a post or create a new page.
