1.5.1 -> 1.5.2 upgrade causes lost links and badges in column

  • Correct me if I am wrong — the last time I upgraded WP I did not have to conpletely re-build the badges, links and layout in the right column. I just upgraded from 1.5.1 –> 1…5.2 and I lost all the column content. Did I do something wrong?

    I followed the instructions making sure I did not delete the wp-config.php file. I deleted all other files and folders.

    If this is the case, can I use the code form the sidebar template from the proir version after upgrade?

  • That should have been delete alll files but wp-config.php ADD the wp-content folder….. if you still have a backup of your wp-content folder, re-upload it and it should be OK again.
