1.5 to 2.0 rc 2

  • Please help me out…I want to upgrade my site from the present 1.5.2 to wordpress 2.0 rc 2 without losing any data…

  • It is not ready for release.
    It’s not an upgrade – it’s TESTING.

    This may sound rude but if you need to ask, you should certainly not be doing that. Wait until the proper release – your data will be safe and a full upgrade guide will be available.

    i know its for testing…But I am in the beta testers list and I have used it…but since I am a newbie I am asking this question…Anyway acc to me its working allright…

    If you’re a newbie, you DEFINETLY shouldn’t be using 2.0, especially in a live environment. It’s still in beta for a reason – there are broken and non-functioning items still.

    Just because you’re on the beta testers list doesn’t mean you should be using it. ??
