• This must be a FAQ, but…

How do I use a javascript-encoding for my blog “contact me” email address?

The hiveware.com encoder is accessible at the moment, so I’m using a simple one at https://www.stevedawson.com/emailencode.php which I don’t think is nearly as safe.

Whatever, same problem – getting the java evaluated from inside the_content() when my about page is fetched.

  • Why didnt you just consolidate your 3 topics about (almost) the same thing, and post it into the Miscellaneous forum? All of these seem like more work than needed, as macmanx pointed out in another thread.

Very sorry – I actually thought they were different topics. This one was re: javascript inside of PAGEs.

I’ve sort of answered my own question but placing the includes in the theme’s header.php. It works, but that’s probably not the tidy way to do it.

Also, if you don’t wish to have a contact email address, there’s the other issue with javascript I working at the same time: for such as menu systems, or dynamic outliner functions in the PAGEs content.

i tried that code from the link above and wp didn’t pull it up, h placed it in an external file and placed a javascript link in the page but it doesn’t bring the email into the page
