I tried by disabling all the other plugins and my theme but that doesn’t fix the problem.
I also deleted the installation of Yoast SEO to load via FTP the new files and clear any caches but the problem continues :/

  • Hi,

We would like some more information.

    1. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    2. Do you have the Yoast Helper plugin on your site? Is it updated to v1.9?

    3. If you disable that plugin does the Yoast plugin work?

    4. Besides that error, can you elaborate more on what is not working in regards to the plugin? What are you expecting Yoast to do? What is Yoast doing? Are parts of the plugin not working? If so, what are they?

    Hi,

1-Everything is up to date on my site.

2 & 3-I didn’t know Yoast Helper, I just installed it but I’m having a bit of trouble understanding what it can do. I disabled it and tried to enable Yoast SEO but the error message remains the same.

4- I am using Yoast to improve my SEO, but currently I cannot activate the plugin, When I want to activate the plugin I have the error message published above

@photopyrros Thanks for your reply and checking those items.

As for the Yoast Helper plugin, this plugin is used for various diagnostic purposes, and resetting certain items in the Yoast SEO plugin (such as the indexables feature, link counters, etc).

If you’ve already confirmed that WordPress, Yoast SEO, and your other plugins/themes are up to date, we’d next recommend performing a conflict check to determine whether another plugin or theme is interfering with the Yoast SEO plugin. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

    Hello @devnihil & @pcosta88 ,

Thanks for your recommendations. Before trying to solve the problem, I just installed the latest version (15.2) and I was able to activate the plugin without any problem. I no longer have this error message.

I will try to investigate the origin of the problem on my test server in more detail. I had anticipated all your recommendations, but it was an opportunity to discover new plugins that may one day be very useful to me.

Thank you to you 2 ??
