Image alignment on pages
-
I’m trying to understand image alignment in WP.
To do this, on a test page, I’ve got 10 paragraphs of text. On each paragraph I’ve inserted an identical image, and used one of each of the alternatives for image alignment (Not set, baseline, top, middle, bottom, text top, absolute middle, absolute bottom, left, right) assuming each of these choices would show me what happens to the image.
Whether I have the insertion pointer to the left or right of the page, whether I use Firefox or IE, the image always is aligned off the left-hand margin.
In other words, whatever alignment choice I make in the image insertion box, my final published results are identical.
I feel I have read everything there is on the support documention.
Could anyone advise what I am doing wrong?
Thanks.
