Unfortunately, was necessary to fix another bug about this you report, on wp_admin side when user or admin go to change email address or user: so files of 1.3.4 have been just updated to fix this important bug that should be the final about.
Please download now and replace wp_w3all plugin files.

If you change the email user in the admin panel WordPress, the changes in the WordPress and phpBB. If you change the email user in the admin panel phpBB, the only change in phpBB, in the WordPress does not change.

OK! The fact that email do not change for the user in WP if changed in phpBB, do not change nothing about security and integrity of data as wp_w3all code is done, but change about user experience, of course.

It can be solved in easy way, the same as if an user has been deactivated or not on phpBB.

    On 1.3.5 will be:

on email change WP side, the user will be updated on both immediately at same time of update.

WHILE if the email change will be done on phpBB, than when user visit WP after change, the user email will be also updated on WP.

    … 1.3.5 coming soon …

1.3.5 released just to solve the sincro about email change if it is done on phpBB profile and little more. If email change is done on phpBB when user visit WP, his email is auto updated.

Going little in deep and explaining …. About others ‘secondary’ preferences profile fields like URL, maybe facebook etc etc to be updated for user when modified or added, we need to find out the more convenient smarty way and use a required query more, getting/setting data strictly only when really necessary, not in front end, one time, and not inside verify_phpbb_credentials. We’ll look for the best way to achieve this in a very smarty way.

Until now, to get sincro about user email, user deactivation/activation or user password change, we do not had to add any queries.
