• For reference, my photoblog is at https://www.mezhopking.com.

Please have a look at the site before you try and solve the problem… on the left had side (sidebar.php) I’ve got a Navigation list, with obviously previous and next links.

These links work perfectly whilst on the homepage and subsequent preview pages (…/index.php?paged=2 … /index.php?paged=3 ect) but when anyone clicks on the post to view more (…/index.php?p=62 etc), these navigation links disappear….

Can anyone please tell me why and more importantly how I can fix them. I’m sure there’s a very basic solution to this, but I can’t seem to find it.

Many many thanks to anyone can help me.

    Update:
I’m not sure if it matters, but I’m using the Exhibit 1.1d plugin.

Well, I can’t tell you how to fix them, but would it be possible for you to upgrade to the final v1.5 “Strayhorn” release? You are currently using an alpha (pre-beta) release.

I realise this, but I’ve got quite a few plug-ins that I’m not sure will work…. if you think this may help then I’ll upgrade my local copy and see if it works – if its successful i’ll then upload it.

    Any other ideas?

I’m not sure if it will work for your specific issue, but I am sure that you should upgrade. v1.3a5 is full of bugs compared to v1.5. If you’re unsure about the plugins, check the plugin developers’ sites.

    On this page:

box 1, is the code I use for single page navigation.

    Do you have similar ?

now that i have this problem resolved, do you think that i should still invest some time into upgrading? is it really worth it?

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

Yes, it is worth it. Again, v1.3a5 is full of bugs compared to v1.5. v1.3a5 is an alpha-release, which means pre-beta, which means very unstable. Also, all future updates will apply to v1.5.

    yeah ok, i’m convinced.
i’ve already begun the upgrade…. downloading my server backup as we speak.

    cheers.
