    1.2.1 breaks wp 3.8.1 multisite

    A little explanation would be of great help!

    Simple: I upgraded and got the White Screen of Death. I then moved the 1.2.1 plugin out of the plugins folder and all was well. I then installed the old 1.2.0 plugin and all was still well. Note: I have network-activated the plugin, as many of my users are on Twenty Fourteen theme…perhaps this was the problem with 1.2.1?

    That could well be the issue – See this thread for a similar report:

    The plugin employs a conditional call where it checks that the active theme on any given site is actually the default theme or one of its child theme before returning its functions.

    The advice at the moment is to have the plugin activated on per site basis.

    Okay, thanks. As a note, there was no problem with network activating your plugin until I did the 1.2.1 upgrade.

    Hi, I also got the white screen of death when I updated the plugin. I only have one site and I’m fairly new to wordpress, it took me hours to figure out what happened.

    1.2.1 broke my site’s layout, too, reducing the site to a 300px wide column of disjointed gibberish. Only solution for now is to deactivate until this is resolved. All was glorious going up through 1.2.0. Single-site installation, by the way.

    @george Hahn,

    First of all could you start a new thread is the issue does not sound related to this one.

    Secondly a link or some screenshot to highlight the issues would be of help – if that’s not possible then a good explanation of the issue, i.e. the set up and other plugins involved in the set up would go a little way to debug the issues so I can better assist you.

    I have the plugin active at wpdefault.com as well other sites with no issues so some background in your set up will be of great help.

    Thanks,
    Zulf
