1.2.0 rc3 not showing config form when simplesharebuttons plugin is active

    Hi,

    after updating to 1.2.0 rc3 the configuration page only shows messages but not the actual configuration form to edit settings, only little blank space there. After deactivating the simplesharebuttons plugin it showed up again. We are using a premium version of this plugin (https://simplesharebuttons.com/plus/ latest version 0.5.0), don’t know if the standard plugin causes the same error.

    Also the update deleted our Akeeba settings (that’s why I had to access the configuration), is that normal behaviour?

    This sounds like a Javascript conflict. I can’t reproduce this with our current code (what will be 1.2.0.rc5) and the free version of the plugin.

    If possible, please use our contact form at https://www.akeebabackup.com/contact-us to send me a contact request using the “Bug report” category referencing the URL of this message on www.remarpro.com. Give me login information to your site’s wp-admin (URL, username and password) to let me log in and inspect the Javascript execution on the page.

    Regarding the settings, the issue seems to affect a small number of users due to the upgrade of the settings encryption. Unfortunately it;s something that once it happens it can’t be fixed. If the settings cannot be decrypted they are reset.

    Your latest updates 1.2.0 final and 1.2.1 seem to fix the problem ??
