A few months ago I added a Sticky menu to the Global Themes in Divi along with a banner above it. Well I decided I wanted the Sticky above the banner which is easy enough in Divi to move but as soon as I did I discovered that below teh Sticky Menu was a white space 11px tall.

I immediately just adjusted the top margin of the banner to -11px to cover the 11px white space I saw. I noticed as I moved the margin up the text in the banner was being pushed down so I simply went to the 3 text modules and set them it -11px as well.

I then tested in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari to make sure all looked right. Both Firefox and Chrome appear like I would expect but Safari shows the text up 11px higher than it should be.

Of course if i move the 3 text modules in the banner back to 0 margin then the text is centered in Safari but to low in FF and Chrome.

Divi support helped me get the menu installed in the original configuration where the menu was below the banner and had me put in some CSS for menu formatting (suspect that may be the issue but i am not a CSS guy at all). I can upload the CSS if that would help somebody to figure out where that 11px white space comes from and messes things up. Any ideas? Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. We would have to see it in action to figure out what might be causing it ?? So if you can set it up on a page somewhere that we can have a look at that would be good.
    The https://stokesabde.com/ link doesn’t seem correct (DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN).

I’ve had a look but I really don’t know what to tell you ??
There are a lot of wrappers for that element but I think the main cause of the issues is that the menu has an uneven padding (top/bottom) as you can see in this screenshot https://prnt.sc/1cbh62h
But instead of having that padding fixed, the wrappers and other elements CSS is adjusted to make things even. So it’s a bit complex ??

It is driving me nuts, Divi support provided some CSS, I just removed all of it and it made no difference. Divi support can’t see what is causing the problem either. Me not being a coder am ready to hit the delete key and walk away. lol

    Thanks for looking
