11,000 Comments which are spam

I have 11,000+ comments on my blog which comes to about 500 pages worth of spam comments.

It seems to me that I can only delete them page by page. This is to tedious. Is there a way to delete all 11,000 comments at one time?

Also, how to I stop these ‘spam’ comments to my blog?
