11 Blank Lines

  • Folks,

    Growing out of the problem where extra lines appear in the RSS feed and so it will not work in most cases, I realized that every page WordPress generates start at line 11 (if you look at the page source) rather than on line one.

    I reinstalled v2.7 and the problem persists. (I’ve also deactivated every plugin.)

    While most browsers can display this and readers can still view the website, it is unsettling. Might anyone suggest a place to look for a resolution?
