When I went to do an import with WP3.0b1
    Tools>Import>WordPress
    It told me:
“Choose a file from your computer: (Maximum size: 10MB)”
Crimminy! That’s a small limit! Why? How to deal with? This should be higher.

That’s generally the size most servers allow via PHP. Actually … I wonder if that’s being called from your server and not WordPress, per sey…

Running a network? Check the options page. You can restrict size there too.

10 meg for an import file is pretty large though – tons of posts. The import file doesn’t contain uploads, just links to.

Got it. I found that if I unchecked that box then it went to my PHP limit of 200MB. Thanks.

The Blogger import file is 12.9MB containing a bit over 1,400 posts and almost 7,000 comments. I ran it through the import and am examining it now to see if everything worked. It look okay so far.
