• Since the latest update (albeit WP or WC) PayPal checkouts dont work for me anymore.
    When selecting paypal, clicking ‘proceed to paypal’ it jumps back to the cart page, and i receive an email with error “10431 Error – Item Amount Invalid at Checkout”.

    Any way to debug/fix this?

    I’m sorry for the delayed response.

    Did you make sure to clear out any caching / CDN tools you might be using after the updates? Also, are you saying you recently updated WordPress, WooCommerce, and our plugin at the same time? So you’re running all current versions now..??

    Does the order include some sort of a discount, odd quantities, or is it something like when you want to charge $0 for the items but still charge shipping? Do you have logging enabled? It would be good to get a look at the log file to see the break down of items.

    One thing you can try is to disable the “Send Line Item Details to PayPal” option inside the Express Checkout gateway settings. That will remove the items altogether and should eliminate this error.

    @angelleye thanks for the reply.

    Disabling “Send Line Item Details to PayPal” fixed it for now – but none of my items have been changed regarding odd quantities, discount, or charging $0. I’ve enabled logging for now as well and will log one of the errors later to you if that can help.

    Yes, you’ll need to turn line items back on to trigger the error, but if you’re able to reproduce it easily then you could do that and turn line items right back off. Or if you have a separate test site we could leave it on there for testing. I do need to get a look at that log to see what might be causing this.
