• Today I have suddenly been getting 100s of email warnings: The optin campaign “” is failing to convert leads due to the following error “No email provider or list has been set for this optin.

However, all I have is one optin campaign set up integrated with the WordPress User Registration system to collect emails for my newsletter, and that is working fine. I have no other integrations set up with any other optin campaigns.

Any ideas what could be causing this sudden avalanche of emails? It seems like some kind of bot attack.

    Thank you

    Hello ????,

Are you using the latest version of MailOptin? The “No email provider or list has been set for this optin.” error is usually sent if users submit an opt-in campaign with no integrated email list. If you are certain no other opt-in campaign might cause this, please open a support ticket here so we can investigate this further.

Hi…Yes, I am using the latest version of the plugin, and I am sure that I have no other Optin Campaign other than the one integrated with the WordPress User Registration system, which is working fine. I also haven’t touched any setting or anything else in the plugin for many months when this issue started.

I ended up disabling the plugin because I was getting a warning email every single minute. I will enable the plugin again and see if the issue returns. If it does, I will send the support ticket or let you known here if the issue has resolved itself.

    Thank you.
