Kindly update the plugin to not use autoload data in wp_options. The plugin adds over 100kb of autoloaded data which is loaded on every request of the site regardless if it has reviews or not! This is very stressful for sites with large requests

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out! I understand you are concerned with affect on site performance because Judge.me is autoloading data from the wp_options table on each page of the site.

Judge.me widgets can be placed on any page of a site. So autoloading the data for the widgets is kind of necessary. We are making some changes to the plugin in the near future, so we’ll consider making improvements to the way we autoload data, although i cannot promise exactly when this will.

    Best,

    Judge.me

Absolutely agree with topicstarter. Judge.me has the biggest amount of autoladed data in wp_options among all plugins. It’s loading even more data than theme. Most of that data comes from judgeme_widget_all_reviews option. This is absolutely excessive considering the widget shows only 5 reviews when clicked, all further reviews are paginated. And widget is not used on all pages.

You are right it is not necessary to have autoload on all wp_options we create.

We will update the plugin to not autoload all options.
