I am completely baffled regarding how to simply import data from Excel. The date below is a sample of what I am trying to import. I am saving it as CSV and inspecting the quotes by hand. This is the format the date is supposed to be in correct? I’ve tried everything, what is the big secret? After I import, I go to “List Participants” and I get blank records.

I appreciate anyone who can explain the steps to import this data.

    “Last”,”First”,”Link”,”Country”
    “Warzee”,”Xavier”,”(Level 1) Certificate”,”France”
    “White”,”C.J.”,”(Level 1) Certificate”,”United States”
    “Wilson”,”Nathan”,”(Level 1) Certificate”,”Canada”
    “Wollin”,”Michael”,”(Level 1) Certificate”,”USA”
    “Yandra”,”Siva Kumar”,”(Level 1) Certificate”,”India”
    “Yandra”,”Siva Kumar”,”(Level 1) Certificate”,”India”

    Hi

Hope don’t mind me jumping in. Have you checked your fields have CSV ticked under additional options and did you download a blank CSV (found on import page) and edit this file?

If you don’t have the csv box ticked I have personally found it does not upload. The plugin developer can correct me if I am wrong.

    Hope this helps

That’s correct. On the Import CSV page, you’ll see a list of the fields you have configured for export from the database. You can export a blank CSV file from there if it helps you understand what you’re going for.

The main thing I see wrong with your data is that the header row needs to be the “name” of the fields, not the “title”… check the Manage Database fields page to see the field names.
