you need to put your app in for review now. follow the directions in the link that is in the message. this is something new that facebook has implemented in last few months due to all the data leaking controversy.

I have read the instructions but to my understanding – the Facebook review of the “App” is to be submitted by the developer and not by users of the App.

Please look into this and provide the necessary submission to Facebook.

    Thanks

Hi, at this point you are the creator of the “App” which you use with the plugin. I do not maintain a FB App with the plugin. Hope that helps.

Yes this is developer have to submit. Coz I have submitted this to Facebook 2 weeks ago and so far no reply from them. Now I use a different plugin which author has done the submission to Facebook and we simply don’t have to do anything . srizon[dot]com

Please check Srizon just search on plugins

Ok, so when i create an app review i need to add items. which items do i need to add so it works with your plugin? there`s tons of options.

i picked “page public content access”

    is that correct?

    Thanks,
    Martin

Yes, that sounds correct. This approval process is all new from Facebook, but that sounds right.

    -Mike

    Ok,
my item was not approved by FB.
    This is what they said:
Your screencast doesn’t show how the use of this permission directly improves the user experience in your app. Unfortunately, we also weren’t able to determine this from testing your app manually.
All permissions data must be visibly used within your app. We do not accept permission requests for data that you may decide to use later.
Please see our Examples page to learn more about making and submitting a successful screencast.
Learn more about testing permissions prior to approval.

can please someone tell me how to get this right?

i even uploaded a screencast and everything.

Is this process so annoying and complex to everyone?
Or is the data policy different in Austria / Europe, where i am?

    Thanks,
    Martin

Facebook’s App reviews method is stupid.
They ask for a screencast which should show how the app works, but the app cannot work because you need the authorization that you’re tring to ask.
    It’s a fucking loop.

Same problem here. Just want to show my OWN page posts on My OWN website.. Not possible. Welcome to Facebook 2018!. Hope they die soon…

Hi, I came here because I’m looking into an issue we recently have. Is ‘liking’ and ‘commenting’ on posts also related to this permission? Suddenly we cannot like all post types anymore via our app.

Thank you for your response ??

I’m having the same issue! So not worth it. I’ll just settle without.

Can someone just post what exactly needs to be filled out on the facebook side of things? The FB page that is linked is less than helpful and you sort of need to know how the WP Embed plugin works in order to submit the proper review. Very frustrating.

    Hello,

I use different fb album plugin but got the same error now. I tried to use App review and was rejected. they said this:

With regards to your feedback, I noticed that your app does not need to submit for Page Public Content Access. Page Public Content Access is only used to read and analyze from all other pages. Additionally, PPCA is meant to perform a comparative, quantitative analysis between two or more public Facebook pages that you do not own.

Your app would benefit from using Manage_Pages, which would help with your application’s intended function to post the content of the Facebook page you manage on your web site. For more details on how to best incorporate Manage_Pages, please see here for more details: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions

In order to have Manage_Pages approvable, please resubmit with the following criteria: please show the Facebook post on your website and on the corresponding Facebook page you manage.

For more details on how to best incorporate Manage_Pages, please see here for more details: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions
