$10 shipping being added

    Ive started having a problem with this plugin adding $10 freight to all orders. The freight does not show until you go to pay on paypal.

    The shipping base cost is set to 0. I do not have profile based shipping enabled. If I set the base cost to 0.01, the freight does not get added.

    Nothing has changed with the plugin settings for years, outside of updates.

    What has changed?

    Can you check your PayPal settings? Also can you enable Debug Mode and then carry out a test transaction. Afterwards check the log file.

    I don’t have access to the paypal account myself, but I’ll get the owner to check it out.

    Reset the log and then turned on debugging.

    Added one item, no shipping added
    Added a second item, 10$ shipping added
    Added a third item, $20 shipping added.

    I checked the template for the products, it generates the necessary code for the add to cart button. It only has the price. Should I be specifying shipping of 0 for each item (kinda negates the base shipping fee?)

    The debug log has nothing except the line saying it was reset.

    You will have to wait until you speak to the PayPal account holder. They will be able to confirm if they have added or not a base shipping cost to their account.

    Seems shipping calculation was turned on in PayPal – if the value was between .01 and 49.99, it would add $10 shipping, between 50 and 99, $15, etc.

    They claim they never changed any settings, but I’ve set to $0 for each range and seems to be fine now.
