10 second Lag clicking out of preview mode

  • I have this issue where when I’m editing a page, I click the sidebar to go into preview mode, and when I come out of preview mode it lags by about 10 seconds before the sidebar will come back.. It’s been doing this for only a day or two, before that it was fine. Any suggestions? Thanks

    Make sure you are using the most updated versions of Elementor, WordPress & your theme.

    Deactivate all of your plugins.
    If this solves the problem, gradually activate your plugins one by one, until you spot the problematic plugin.

    Change your WordPress theme to WordPress TwentySixteen (or other default WordPress theme).

    Ahh, figured out what it was… After disabling all the plugins without a solution, I decided to test the page builder on another much small page. That was it! The page builder can’t handle large pages loaded with content! If you add more than so many large images, the page builder Lags.

    Thanks, I’m using Hostgator shared hosting, That is probably the reason…
