HI. I configured 31 feed sources and noticed today that several feeds on my pages just weren’t updating. When I went to the plugin feed sources I noticed that 10 were missing!

Why would this happen? Now I have to recreate the darn feeds AND then replace their codes in the page since the codes are gone and I doubt it will make the same codes for them.

Why would this happen? Is there a 21 feed source limit??

I know this is free but this is a major inconvenience.

Can I ask in what file the feed sources are stored so I can check the file for clues what happened to them?

Is there a way to go into a file where the feed sources are stored, take a feed source and copy/paste it 10 times, then change each one’s URL and feed source code to the original for that feed thus recreating them? (repairing manually)? I’m not a programmer per se but I am a software QA guy and I am technical enough to do this if the layout was agreeable to this being done. Is this neat or is it all coded up somewhere?

Update: Now my feed sources went from 10 to 7 – WHY are my feed sources vanishing?

I think I found the issue – a Post Expirator Plugin was running. It wasn’t set to do anything regarding wprss feeds, but it was spawning cron jobs to remove them.

So, if you have post expire plugins, be careful!
