• Why? Why you’re doing this?

UPDATE: changed to 4 star as I can’t delete this review and not sure if it’s a 5* product. All the best

  • Hi @pixtweaks,

Animated plugin icons are fresh and catchy, quite a few plugins on www.remarpro.com have them by now.

Could you elaborate a bit more on the reasoning behind this review, and perhaps you have a suggestion for us?

    Kind regards,
    Andri

“fresh and catchy” is pure marketing BS language. It’s obnoxious, full stop.
It moves all the time, breaks concentration. If it moves, it should move just once and stop, at least for a while.

    Hi @pixtweaks,

    Thanks for your reply.

We appreciate your feedback and shared it with our designers.

    Kind regards,
    Andri

Because it’s fun and draws attention to the plugin (we want people to see and use the plugin… is there an issue with that?)

Also, there are no guidelines that say we shouldn’t, we didn’t hurt any baby seals while working hard on this freely available open source software and how, exactly, has it impacted you enough to leave us a 1 star review?

Or are you just doing that because you can and because you want the guidelines changed?

It’d be nice if you could just petition wp.org rather than messing with all of our hard work and abusing our helpful and nice colleagues who literally answered your question.

    Ugh ??

Maybe it’s the marketing department that uses aggressive techniques is damaging the hard work of developers. I see you have changed it, I will remove my review tomorrow. Thank you.

Hey Jaro, that’s vert kind of you, thanks (in advance) for removing the review, it’s a really admirable quality to be able to see things from others perspective, thanks again.
