Sorry for creating a new topic, but my last topic on security guard was resolved, so I’m not sure if it’s still being followed.

Hi all, I’m starting to understand how I want the user to be navigated to the paid content. Here’s the basic flow for free and paid users.

user1 (free or paid member) -> front page -> login credentials -> WORDPRESS LOGIN PAGE (enter credential again) -> taken to the membership acct page….

2.) Once the user enter their login credentials the first time, I would like the following:

    • If they are paid members, then they go to the front page without the login credentials.
    • If they are free members, then they are directed to the the front page with a join Now button.

    Questions are below:

1.) How do I remove the WORDPRESS LOGIN PAGE? I believe it coming from JetPack that makes a connection to WordPress.com. Essentially, this forces the user to log in twice!

2.) Is there some redirect code or add-on that will take the user from the membership acct page to either the front page without login credential or to the Join Now button?

Great product, I’m really feeling it.

    Ronald

I would like to note hat sometimes a welcome page with the username will present itself. Does pmpro create this page? If not, then I’ll assume it’s coming from my twentytwentyfour theme.

Alright, I read this article that redirect all members back to the same page, so this is perfect!

However, I’m still getting this extra wordpress login that isn’t necessary. It will first request that you answer a math problem. When you submit the correct answer then you’re directed to the wordpress log-in page.

When I disconnect Jetpack from the wordpress.com site, the redirect works as expected without the extra login. Is there a way for me to keep my Jetpack connection to wordpress.com and have it work as expected, or do I need to ditch jetpack?

    Anyone else having this issue?

Hi Ron, thank you for reaching out to the Paid Memberships Pro team.

Jetpack can’t be used in conjunction with the PMPro login page due to the way their forms work.

The best would be to keep Jetpack active in this case and navigate to Memberships > Settings > Pages and set your Login page to ‘Use WordPress Default’. PMPro will then always redirect to the Jetpack login page instead.

Jarryd, that works! The user only needs to log-in one time. In addition, it doesn’t present a second log-in page that redirect the user to the membership-account page.

Talking about killing two birds with one stone. PMPro application and team is killing it!
